Smokey Robinson Before and After Photos
Tears of Age
Dude is a legend of Motown. His talent is insurmountable. His music has left an indelible mark in it’s respective history and a mark in pop culture. Swagger and grace…that was Smokey Robinson. The man continues to leave his mark on all of us, with fanfare and sold out shows all across the world but the question that really poses our concern is, did Smokey sell out at the hands of the knife? or did we sell out just by even thinking of the Smokey Robinson plastic surgery notion…. we second that emotion.
“As human beings, we’re very materialistic and have all this stuff – furs and cars and diamonds and money.”
A Little About the Man
On February 19, 1940, in Detroit, Michigan, legend Smokey Robinson was born. Robinson grew up on the opposite side of the tracks in a relatively rough part of town. Looking for a means of an escape, he chose the creative route by using his voice, singing in local groups. He soon formed the group, The Matadors.
He formed The Miracles and by the 60’s, the group was cranking out gold with hits like “Tears of a Clown”, “Shop Around”, “You Really Got a Hold on Me” and “I Second That Emotion”, Smokey had become a full time celeb.
Down the road in the early 70’s, he would spark up a highly successful solo career but then he found himself in a dark place, suffering from an eventually highly publicized Cocaine addiction. Being a man of the swag as was, he pulled out of his addiction by the help of his newly revised faith. As of today he is still making great music to huge set of fans that never waiver.
He Shopped Around for a Plastic Surgeon
Age crept around, as it is sometimes known to do and it left Smokey between a rock and a hard place. While between that rock and hard place, Smokey devised a plan to stop or at least stall the cruel hands of time. It had to be the knife to help him, to bring him back to the face of his youth. He knew going under the knife would be a “miracle” but by the results it may have just created “ Tears of a Clown”.
Rumors began to circulate around Smokey and his possible connection with the knife, and it wasn’t hard to see why. His appearance began to look unnatural and rather quickly. It wasn’t the kind of unnatural when you think, “he seems different”, it was the kind that spelled a clear case of plastic surgery addiction.
While examining his face, you can see major changes with his eyelids and his brows. His face gives off a considerably smooth appearance, just about looking like his still might be in his thirties. However, in varied lights, the camera picks up a really tight and almost uncomfortable looking face.
Dr. Anthony Youn, who is a well known plastic surgeon, threw in his two cents. He noted the definite change and removal of unnecessary lines in his brows and the perimeter surrounding his eyes. he also said that for a man at the age of 73, being void of wrinkles to the extent of Smokey would be an impossibility.
Under the Knife Points: The Procedure Checklist

When Faced with Time
Smokey my friend, you can’t fool us a bit. We know all about the ways of the knife, we can literally see it written all over your face. The thing about Smokey Robinson plastic surgery is, the man really is a legend and if any of us were in his place and facing the clock nearing midnight, what would we do? If you really sit back and ponder that thought, it’s tough. There is nothing else in our worlds resources that can turn the hands of the clock back like plastic surgery, no diet, exercise nor faith. If you faced impending accelerated age, what would you do?…think about it.
