Marie Osmond is a popular actress, country musician and TV show host. Well known for her role as co-host of the family variety show ‘Donny & Marie’, alongside her elder brother Donny. She is a sibling of the family pop music group, ‘The Osmond’s’ which was most famous in the 70’s and 80’s. Although she has appeared in a number of TV series, she is perhaps better known for snubbing an offer to play the role of ‘Sandy’ in the famous movie ‘Grease’, due to what she termed as “Immoral content in the script.” Marie has also played voice role in Children’s cartoons.
Her last hit single, ‘What kind of a man’ was released in 1995, and made it to the billboard charts.
Marie has been married three times, to two different men. She married her first husband again in the year 2012 after divorcing her second husband.

Plastic Surgery Speculations
Speculation has been rife that Marie has undergone multiple plastic surgeries spanning a period of more than a decade, resulting in drastic transformations of her face. Some of the suspected procedures include: Blepharoplasty, canthopexy and rhinoplasty. Some commentators have suggested even more procedures, including lip augmentation and botox injections.
Marie herself has admitted to undergoing “maintenance” procedures, and was quoted at one time saying she intends to undergo some more procedures. This includes procedures meant to tighten her neck so that there would be less sagging of the jowls. But she has never really admitted any invasive surgical procedures that she has undergone to keep her looking young and beautiful. However, critics have insisted that Marie is being economical with the truth about her plastic surgery, saying that she seems to have actually gone through more procedures than she cares to admit.
The Facials
According to Dr. Anthony Youn, it is likely that Marie had undergone some Botox injections; “Her eyebrows seem to be arched excessively” Says the Plastic Surgeon, “probably from Botox Injections.”
Pictures of Marie have revealed a changed look of her lips, sparking more speculation that she might have undergone lip augmentation. Dr. Youn was quoted saying that the star’s lips look disproportionate, with the upper lip looking bolder than the lower lip.
Marie has also been quoted as saying that she has undergone a skin resurfacing procedure known as HydraFacial, which may not necessarily be described as classical plastic surgery. She also admitted to have done another procedure, with infrared, to “tighten the skin and make it look more toned”.
Some experts have however said, that the changes in her Skin tone appear to be a result of something more than just infrared and non lesser procedures.
In addition to all that, Osmond has publicly confessed that she has done some skin peels on her face. Skin peel is a procedure that essentially peels off the topmost layer of the skin, leading to the growth of a replacement that is fresh-looking and more aesthetic. She has explained this as the reason for her smooth skin.
Surgery Results
Perhaps Marie’s is not the classical story of backfired celebrity plastic surgery. Her skin is smooth and young, her face looks tighter, and there are no sagging jowls.
Her lips are fuller, Her eyebrows are indeed rather excessively arched. Overall, she has done a huge makeover, and to many people, she might appear to be unrecognizable from her former looks.
Asked about the surgeries, Marie Osmond said that she didn’t think anything was wrong if “It makes you more happy” in life.
